Maximum cable length IMS-I
For connection to Rexroth drive controller IndraDrive:
Encoder interface EC (12 VDC supply): maximum length is 75 m
Encoder interface EN2 interface (5 VDC supply): maximum length is 50 m
For connection to other evaluation electronics:
Signal type I1 (1 Vpp, current consumption 300 mA):
Voltage drop over 75 m cable length is 2.05 V, i.e., the encoder supply voltage for the evaluation electronics must be able to be set to at least 6.8 V (for example, by sense-control).
Signal type I2, I3, I4 (TTL, current consumption 350 mA):
Voltage drop over 75 m cable length is 2.30 V, that is, the encoder supply voltage for the evaluation electronics must be able to be set to at least 7.05 V (for example, by sense-control).
