The Sun Hydraulics U9P (Material Number: U9P) is a robust manifold designed for use with solenoid-operated and electroproportional cartridges. It features additional material around the cavity to provide necessary coil clearance, along with the spotface required for Sun's weatherized coil. This line mount body type supports a ninety-degree interface, compatible with standard and weatherized coils. It includes eleven mounting holes with a diameter of 0.34 inches (8.6 mm) that penetrate through the manifold body, accommodating various installation requirements. The manifold has open cavities designed to fit T-13A cartridges and features SAE 4 port sizes for efficient hydraulic fluid management. Constructed from 6061T651 aluminum, the U9P manifold offers excellent corrosion resistance without the need for anodizing, which can compromise fatigue life due to its brittle surface characteristics.
