The Sun Hydraulics RVGSLWV (RVGSLWV) is a ventable, pilot-operated, balanced poppet relief cartridge designed for precise pressure regulation in hydraulic systems. This valve remains closed until the inlet port pressure reaches the preset threshold, at which point it opens to throttle flow to the tank port, thereby regulating the system pressure. Featuring a vent port for remote control by other pilot or 2-way valves, it ensures accuracy with minimal pressure rise versus flow and operates smoothly and quietly. The internal modulating mechanism makes it resistant to cavitation-related issues like noise and manifold erosion. Suitable for load-holding applications, it requires zero-leak valving on the vent port to function effectively. This cartridge is compatible with phosphate ester fluid systems when configured with EPDM seals but should not be exposed to petroleum-based fluids as they can damage the seals.
