The Sun Hydraulics RVEDWCN (RVEDWCN) is a ventable, pilot-operated, balanced piston relief cartridge with an external drain designed for precise pressure regulation. This valve remains closed until the pressure at the inlet port reaches the predetermined setting, at which point it opens to tank port 2 to throttle flow and maintain the desired pressure. It features a vent port that allows for remote control and a drain port that ensures insensitivity to back pressure. Ventable, pilot-operated, balanced piston relief cartridges with external drain are normally closed pressure regulating valves.
