The Sun Hydraulics RVEDKAV (RVEDKAV) is a ventable, pilot-operated, balanced piston relief cartridge with an external drain, designed as a normally closed pressure regulating valve. When the inlet port 1 pressure reaches the valve setting, it opens to tank port 2, throttling flow to regulate pressure. The valve features a vent port 3 for remote control and a drain port 4 that renders it insensitive to back pressure.
