The Sun Hydraulics RVEAMJN (RVEAMJN) is a ventable, pilot-operated, balanced piston relief cartridge designed for precise pressure regulation in hydraulic systems. This valve remains normally closed until the inlet port 1 pressure reaches the preset valve setting, at which point it opens to tank port 2 to throttle flow and maintain stable pressure levels. It features a vent port 3 that allows for remote control via other pilot or two-way valves, enhancing its versatility in complex systems. Notably accurate with low pressure rise versus flow characteristics, the RVEAMJN operates smoothly and quietly while offering moderate response speed. This cartridge is capable of handling maximum pressures at port 2, making it suitable for cross-port relief circuits, though spool leakage should be considered in such applications.
