The Sun Hydraulics PVDDLNN (PVDDLNN) is a ventable, pilot-operated pressure reducing-relieving valve designed to maintain a constant reduced pressure at port 1 from a higher primary pressure at the inlet, featuring a full-flow relief function from port 1 to tank port 3. This valve includes a vent port (port 4) for remote control via pilot or two-way valves. Unlike conventional designs, this model has the main stage orifice drilled into the piston, enhancing durability in demanding applications. The valve setting can be directly influenced by the pressure at port 3 on a 1:1 ratio and should not surpass 3000 psi (210 bar). If reverse free flow is needed in the circuit, adding an external check valve is advisable as reverse flow from reduced pressure port 1 to inlet port 2 may close the main spool.
