The Sun Hydraulics PSHBCWN (PSHBCWN) is a direct-acting pressure reducing/relieving valve designed to manage high primary pressure at the inlet port, ensuring a consistent reduced pressure at port 1 while providing full-flow relief from port 1 to tank port 3. Featuring a damped construction for stable operation, this valve can handle high reduced pressures and is particularly suitable for accumulator circuits due to its low secondary circuit leakage. It operates effectively in contaminated systems, offering reliable performance even in dead-headed conditions. Unlike pilot-operated versions, this direct-acting valve has a transitional step between reducing and relieving modes, making it less suitable for counterbalancing applications but providing superior dynamic response.
