The Sun Hydraulics PPDFQCN (PPDFQCN) is a pilot-operated, pressure-reducing and relieving valve designed to manage high primary pressures at the inlet port 2, reducing them to a stable lower pressure at port 1 while offering full-flow relief from port 1 to tank port 3. Notably, the main stage orifice is drilled into the piston, enhancing durability in demanding applications. The valve can handle a maximum pressure of 3000 psi (210 bar) at port 3, which also directly influences the valve setting on a 1:1 ratio basis.
