The Sun Hydraulics FREALBN (Material Number: FREALBN) is a bypass restrictive, fixed orifice, priority flow control valve designed to manage hydraulic flow with precision. It takes input flow at port 1 and directs it to satisfy the priority flow at port 3. Any excess flow beyond the priority requirement is bypassed out through port 2, which can be utilized in secondary circuits. This valve requires a customer-specified flow rating, with factory settings accurate within 10% of the requested specification. The valve features a tuneable adjustment control option that allows up to a 22% variation from the nominal factory preset flow, adjusted via three turns of an internal hex screw. The maximum pressure at port 3 should not exceed 3000 psi (210 bar), while both priority and bypass flows are functional up to the system's operating pressure. The design ensures that priority remains constant despite variations in input flow, and bypass flow only becomes available once priority demands are met.
