The Sun Hydraulics FRCACBN (FRCACBN) is a sophisticated bypass-restrictive, fixed-orifice, priority flow control valve designed to manage hydraulic flow with precision. This component takes input flow at port 1 and directs it to satisfy the priority flow at port 3. If the input exceeds the priority requirement, the excess is bypassed out of port 2 for use in secondary circuits. The device requires a customer-specified flow rating, with factory settings accurate within 10% of the requested rate. Both priority and bypass flows can operate at system pressure levels, ensuring consistent performance regardless of input variations. Notably, pressure at the bypass port can exceed that at the priority port. The valve features a sharp-edged orifice design to minimize flow changes due to viscosity variations and offers an adjustable control option allowing up to 25% variation from its nominal preset flow via a simple screw adjustment mechanism. Its floating style construction minimizes internal binding risks from excessive installation torque or machining variations. Suitable for installation in T-11A cavities, this Series 1 valve has a capacity of 6 gpm (23 L/min) and can handle maximum operating pressures up to 5000 psi (350 bar). Bypass/restrictive, fixed-orifice, priority flow controls take an input flow at port 1 and use it to satisfy the priority flow at port 3. If the input flow exceeds the priority flow requirement, the excess is bypassed out port 2. The bypass flow may be used in a secondary circuit.
