The Sun Hydraulics CXJALBN (CXJALBN) is a high-performance check valve designed for hydraulic applications requiring reliable on-off control and free flow functionality. This model allows free flow from the inlet port 1 to the outlet port 2 while blocking flow in the reverse direction, ensuring efficient operation in various hydraulic systems. The CXJALBN is engineered to fit a T18A cavity with a series 4 configuration, and it can handle a maximum capacity of 160 gpm (610 L/min). Featuring a maximum operating pressure of 5000 psi (350 bar), the CXJALBN valve is suitable for high-pressure environments. It boasts an exceptionally low leakage rate, less than 1 drop per minute (0.07 cc/min), which contributes to its efficiency and reliability in maintaining system integrity. The valve's construction includes EPDM seals specifically designed for use with phosphate ester fluids; however, these seals are susceptible to damage if exposed to petroleum-based fluids. The cartridge of this model weighs approximately 2.10 lbs (0.95 kg) and requires installation torque between 350 - 375 lbf.ft (474 - 508 Nm). Its hex size is measured at 1-5/8 inches (41.3 mm). Notably, the CXJALBN incorporates Sun\u2019s floating style construction which minimizes internal parts binding\u2014a common issue due to excessive installation torque or variations in cavity/cartridge machining. This check valve is not only robust but also versatile, making it an ideal choice for applications demanding precise fluid control and directional flow management under varying environmental conditions.

Free-flow, nose-to-side check valves are on/off circuit components that allow free flow from the inlet (port 1) to the outlet (port 2) and block flow in the opposite direction.
- Two-port check valves share the same cavity for a given frame size, however, pay close attention as flow paths may be in opposite directions.
- Check valves offer extremely low leakage rates with a maximum leakage of less than 1 drop per minute (0,07 cc/min).
- Will accept 5000 psi (350 bar) at ports 1 and 2.
- Cartridges configured with EPDM seals are for use in systems with phosphate ester fluids. Exposure to petroleum based fluids, greases and lubricants will damage the seals.
- Corrosion resistant cartridge valves are intended for use in corrosive environments and are identified by the model code suffix /AP or /LH (see CONFIGURATION section). For further details, please see the Materials of Construction page.
- Incorporates the Sun floating style construction to minimize the possibility of internal parts binding due to excessive installation torque and/or cavity/cartridge machining variations.
