The Sun Hydraulics SQFBJNV (SQFBJNV) is a kickdown sequence valve designed to kick completely open and maintain an unrestricted flow path from port 1 to port 2 once the pressure at the inlet port 1 surpasses the valve setting. This feature ensures that the valve remains open as long as the pressure at port 1 exceeds that at port 2. To reset, the pressure at port 1 must drop below the valve's setting, and flow from port 1 to port 2 must stop, with pressure at port 2 equaling or exceeding that of port 1. This model is part of a series where all three-port sequence cartridges are interchangeable in terms of flow path and cavity for a given frame size. It is crucial not to use this valve in load-holding applications. The main stage orifice has a protective stainless steel screen with a 150-micron rating.
