The Sun Hydraulics RVISLAN (Material Number: RVISLAN) is a ventable, pilot-operated, balanced-poppet relief cartridge designed for precise pressure regulation. This valve remains normally closed until the pressure at the inlet port reaches its set threshold, at which point it opens to the tank port to throttle flow and maintain desired pressure levels. Featuring a vent port that allows for remote control via other pilot or two-way valves, this model delivers accuracy with minimal pressure rise versus flow, ensuring smooth and quiet operation. It is particularly suitable for load-holding applications, provided that any valving on the vent port is zero-leak. The RVISLAN model is engineered to handle maximum pressure at port 2 and is ideal for cross-port relief circuits. It offers remote pilot relief on the vent port to control valve operation below its own setting. The valve's performance remains consistent across varying oil temperatures and contamination levels due to its robust design. A 150-micron stainless steel screen protects the main stage orifice from debris.
