The Sun Hydraulics RDHAQAV (RDHAQAV) is a direct-acting relief cartridge designed to protect hydraulic components from pressure transients. This normally closed, pressure-limiting valve opens to the tank port 2 when the pressure at inlet port 1 reaches the set valve threshold, effectively throttling flow to control pressure rise. Known for its smooth operation and noise-free performance, this valve is essentially zero-leak, dirt-tolerant, and immune to silting while offering rapid response times. It is interchangeable with all other 2-port relief cartridges except pilot reliefs, sharing the same flow path and cavity for identical frame sizes.
