The Sun Hydraulics RDBALWN/LH (RDBALWN/LH) is a direct-acting relief cartridge designed to protect hydraulic components from pressure transients. This normally closed, pressure-limiting valve opens to tank port 2 when the inlet port 1 pressure reaches the set point, effectively throttling flow to manage the pressure rise. Known for its smooth and quiet operation, this valve offers essentially zero leakage and is highly tolerant to dirt, making it immune to silting and ensuring rapid response times. The design allows for interchangeability with all 2-port relief cartridges, excluding pilot reliefs, providing a consistent flow path and cavity size across similar frame sizes.
