The Sun Hydraulics RDBALDV/LH (RDBALDV/LH) is a direct-acting relief cartridge valve designed to protect hydraulic components from pressure transients. This normally closed, pressure-limiting valve opens to the tank port when the inlet pressure reaches the set threshold, throttling flow to prevent further pressure increase. Notably, it features a smooth and quiet operation with essentially zero leakage, maintaining performance even in the presence of dirt or silting. The valve is physically and functionally interchangeable with other 2-port relief cartridges of the same frame size and flow path, making it versatile for various applications.
