This normally closed, pressure-limiting valve features modulating capabilities within the cartridge, making it resistant to cavitation-related issues such as noise and manifold erosion. It is crucial to adjust this valve only when pressure is removed or via port 2, as seals on the adjust screw are exposed to pressure at port 1. The RBFACWN is relatively insensitive to oil temperature fluctuations and contamination, ensuring reliable performance across various conditions. With a capacity of 30 gpm (120 L/min) and a maximum operating pressure of 5000 psi (350 bar), this relief cartridge offers a typical response time of 2 ms and minimal leakage at reseat with only 30 drops/minute. It has a reseat percentage of 85% of the setting and hysteresis of approximately 3%. For optimal performance, select a spring range where the desired relief setting is midrange to high between minimum and maximum pressures.
