The Sun Hydraulics FTU (FTU) is a versatile hydraulic subplate designed for ISO 03 interface applications. This subplate features a P to T manifold T port configuration and is constructed with an open cavity designated as T10A. It accommodates a 3/8 BSPP port size, making it suitable for various hydraulic systems requiring efficient fluid transfer. The body of the subplate is crafted from 6061T651 aluminum, known for its excellent corrosion resistance and durability, although it is not anodized to avoid potential issues such as increased breakaway torque and reduced fatigue life. This material choice ensures the subplate can withstand pressures up to 3000 psi (210 bar), provided the system's design takes into account the limitations of aluminum manifolds. The FTU model is specifically designed to be mounted on top of a reservoir, with an NPTF tank port that supports a down pipe connection below the oil level, ensuring optimal fluid management within hydraulic systems. The inclusion of O-rings in the tank port and mounting holes enhances sealing efficiency against mounting surfaces, thus preventing leaks and maintaining system integrity.

Notes:
- This subplate is designed to mount to the top of a reservoir. Tank is an NPTF port to accommodate a down pipe to drop the connection below the oil level. The tank port and mounting holes are supplied with O rings to seal to the mounting surface.
- Important: Carefully consider the maximum system pressure. The pressure rating of the manifold is dependent on the manifold material, with the port type/size a secondary consideration. Manifolds constructed of aluminum are not rated for pressures higher than 3000 psi (210 bar), regardless of the port type/size specified.
