The Sun Hydraulics DSIOXCV (DSIOXCV) is a spring-offset, high-side shuttle cartridge valve designed for hydraulic systems requiring efficient flow control and pressure management. This 2-position valve features a normal offset position that connects the common port (port 3) to work port 4 while blocking work port 2. When the pressure at port 2 surpasses that of port 4, the valve shifts to connect the common port to port 2, subsequently blocking port 4. Although it fits into a 4-port cavity, the nose port (port 1) remains unused. The valve incorporates Sun's floating style construction, which minimizes internal part binding due to excessive installation torque or variations in cavity/cartridge machining. This model is built for a T-34A cavity and is part of Series 4, offering a substantial capacity of up to 120 gpm (480 L/min). It can handle a maximum operating pressure of up to 5000 psi (350 bar), making it suitable for high-pressure applications. The valve's hex size is approximately 1-5/8 inches (41.3 mm), and it requires an installation torque ranging from 350 to 375 lbf ft (475 to 508 Nm).
