This module is designed for use within an S20 station. It is used to acquire the signals from conventional thermocouples in an industrial environment. The module supports different thermocouple types in accordance with DIN EN 60584-1 and DIN 46710, as well as linear voltages from -100 mV to +100 mV. In addition, it provides a voltage input between -5 V and +5 V. Heating currents, for example, can be monitored here using a measuring transducer. You can use each of the two Pt 100 inputs (CJ1 and CJ2) as a sensor input or as an external cold junction.
