The Bosch Rexroth R-IB IL 24 LSKIP-PAC (R911170948) is an integral component designed for sophisticated Inline station configurations within automation systems. This module serves as a line skip module, primarily installed at the beginning of a new line in an Inline station, allowing for the extension of the station across multiple lines. Its primary function is to act as a local bus extension with a limited length capacity, ensuring seamless communication and power distribution between different segments of an Inline station. The R-IB IL 24 LSKIP-PAC works in unison with the RIB IL FLMPAC module, which is positioned at the end of the preceding line, thereby creating an efficient and expandable modular system. The module accepts a supply voltage of 24 V DC (U V), which is utilized to generate both the logic voltage (UL) and the supply voltage for analog modules (UANA). Additionally, it facilitates the distribution of two essential voltages: the 24 V DC main voltage (UM) and segment voltage (US), crucial for maintaining stable operation across various components within an Inline station. This Bosch Rexroth module exemplifies how modularity and flexibility can be achieved in complex automation systems, ensuring that power and data can be effectively routed throughout extended configurations without compromising on performance or reliability. Its design underlines the ease with which Inline stations can be scaled up to meet varying demands, making it an indispensable tool for engineers looking to enhance their control systems with additional lines and modules.

Inline connector

The modular, compact equipment configuration of the I/O systems from Rexroth offers you maximum flexibility for the cost-effective implementation of your individual machine concepts. The I/O modules have robust design and mechanics, are easy to use, have a quick reaction time and are quick to install – both in the control cabinet and in the field. Open communication standards allow you perfect integration of the I/O modules with maximum availability.

Unpacked Weight: 0.271 kg

This module is designed for use within an Inline station. The Inline line skip module is installed at the beginning of the line in the second line (etc.) of an Inline station. This is how an Inline station can be extended using two or more lines. This connection is equal to a local bus extension limited in length. The Inline line skip module works in combination with the R-IB IL 24 FLM-PAC module, which is installed at the end of the previous line. You can feed the supply voltages again using this module. To do so, a 24 V DC voltage (U24 V) is applied at the module; this voltage generates the logic voltage (UL) and the supply voltage for the analog modules (UANA). This module also enables the 24 V DC main voltage (UM) and the 24 V DC segment voltage (US) to be fed.

Electrical isolation/insulation of the voltage ranges

When supplying the 24 V feed to generate UL and UANA separate from the 24 V main supply/24 V segment supply

Common potentials

Main and segment supply are galvanically on the same potential. Their shared ground is led to the participants as ground potential GND, starting from the line skip module and via the potential jumper.
24 V feed to generate UL and UANA, 24 V analog supply and 7.5 V logic supply are galvanically on the same potential. Their shared ground is led to the participants as ground potential "Logic GND" (UL-), starting from the line skip module and via the potential jumper.

Separated potentials

The 24 V feed to generate UL and UANA is separated spatially from the main and segment supply and thus electrically isolated.

Response in the event of voltage dips and interruptions

The voltages (principal and segment voltage) passed on by the line skip module to the potential jumpers follow the fed supply voltages undelayed.

Special requirements to be met by the voltage supply

When feeding the supply voltage U24V separate from the supply voltages UM/US these are galvanically isolated from each other. This is only possible using two separate power packs.
