The Bosch Rexroth FLANGE LIN.BUSHING KBMFT-40-DD (R074154000) is a robust, high-quality flange linear bushing designed for demanding applications. This tandem bushing features a rugged all-metal design that stands up to harsh environments and heavy contamination, making it suitable for use in industries like woodworking, foundries, and cement plants. Its shaft diameter is precisely engineered for optimal performance, while the integrated wiper seals offer protection against ingress of dirt and debris, thereby preventing jamming. The KBMFT-40-DD model boasts many pockets which serve as lubricant reservoirs. These pockets are beneficial for extended lubrication intervals or even lifetime lubrication in certain conditions. The outer sleeve of the bushing is hardened and ground to ensure durability and reliability. Inside, a POM ball retainer holds balls made of rolling bearing steel that enables smooth motion. This linear bushing has been designed to accommodate a maximum dynamic load capacity (Cmax) with specific parameters provided by Bosch Rexroth based on a total travel distance of 100 km; this capacity can be adjusted according to different travel distances as noted in the product specifications. The permissible ambient temperature range for operation is also defined, ensuring reliable performance within the specified environmental conditions. The FLANGE LIN.BUSHING KBMFT-40-DD has additional specifications such as breakaway force, maximum permissible linear speed (vmax), friction force under no radial load condition, and static load capacities (Cmin and Cmax). The product's weight is listed at 0.5 kg, which contributes to its ease of installation without compromising strength or functionality. It's part of the Linear bushing and shaft product group from Bosch Rexroth and adheres to their standard metal series criteria. Designed for linear guidance systems requiring flanged tandem configurations, this model exemplifies precision engineering for smooth linear motion in challenging industrial settings.

Impact of load direction on load rating of closed Linear Bushings
The listed load ratings should be chosen depending on installation in minimum or maximum position and should be based on the calculations. If the load direction is clearly defined and the Linear Bushings can be installed in maximum position, the load ratings Cmax. (dynamic load rating) and C0 max (static load rating) can be used. If aligned installation is not possible or the load direction is not defined, the minimum load ratings must be used.
Definition of dynamic load ratings
Installation dimensions/interchangeability
Standard Linear Bushings have the same installation dimensions as super Linear Bushings. They are interchangeable, differ however in terms of securing, radial clearance, load ratings and lubrication.
Sealing
Standard Linear Bushings come with a wiper seal with shaft diameters of 5 and higher. Open standard Linear Bushings with shaft diameters 20 to 80 can also come fully sealed (with longitudinal seal; increased friction).
