The Bosch Rexroth SUPER LINEAR BUSH KBB-O-50-DD (R067325040) is a high-precision linear motion component designed to provide smooth and accurate linear movement in various applications. This Super LB B series bushing features an open design without self-alignment capabilities, ensuring lower tipping forces along the axial direction. It is specifically engineered for use on fully supported shafts where precision is critical, and other linear guides may not perform adequately due to imprecise substructures. Constructed with steel bearing plates that have machined ball guide grooves and optimized ball lead-in chamfers, the KBB-O-50-DD offers exceptionally smooth travel and a long service life. The bushing's balls are made of rolling bearing steel, which contributes to its durability and reliability under dynamic conditions. The product comes with two seals to protect against contaminants, enhancing its performance in harsh environments. The Bosch Rexroth SUPER LINEAR BUSH has a shaft diameter (d) specification that fits the intended application perfectly. It is capable of high travel speeds (vmax), with maximum permissible linear speeds reaching up to 5 m/s, although these speeds may limit the service life due to increased wear on plastic parts. Its dynamic load capacity (C) and static load rating (C0) are optimized for the main loading direction, ensuring stability under various load conditions. This linear bushing also includes integrated wiper seals that contribute to its low friction coefficient, which varies between 0.01 and 0.02 depending on load and lubrication conditions. The permissible ambient temperature range for this product extends from -20°C to +80°C, allowing for operation in a wide range of environments. With a weight of 0.1 kg and specific radial clearance specifications for different fits (shaft/hole), the Bosch Rexroth SUPER LINEAR BUSH KBB-O-50-DD provides versatile integration into numerous applications requiring precise linear guidance systems without initial lubrication needs. It stands out as an optimal solution for those seeking a low-cost yet high-performance linear bushing option in their mechanical designs or automation projects.

Impact of load direction on load rating of open Linear Bushings
The load ratings C and C0 apply for the main direction of loading ρ = 0°. For all other load directions, the load ratings must be multiplied by the factors fρ (dynamic load rating C) or fρ0 (static load rating C0).
Installing specific Linear Bushings can prevent reductions in load capacity (see Linear Set with side opening).
Reduced load capacity with short stroke
In case of short stroke, the service life of the shaft is less than that of the super Linear Bushing. The load ratings C specified in the tables must therefore be multiplied by the factor f.s .

Sealing
Super linear bushings come both with integrated and separate wiper seals. The separate wiper seals are specially designed for applications in high contamination environments. An additional seal (for example, bellows, extendable cover) is necessary for extremely high contamination environments. The open super linear bushings can also come fully sealed (with longitudinal seal), however this increases friction.

Radial clearance
The radial clearance values shown in the table have been determined from statistics and correspond to values expected in practice.
Adjusting radial clearance
The radial clearance of all Linear Bushings can be adjusted. If, for instance, a zero-clearance guideway is needed, the radial clearance of the Linear Bushing must be reduced using the adjusting screw on the housing (see also Linear Sets) until slight resistance occurs when rotating the shaft. Secure the adjusting screw for applications where vibrations are present.
Adjusting preload
For preloading, the aforementioned adjustment is made using an adjustment shaft that is weaker by the degree of preload.

Initial lubrication
Linear bushings do not come with initial lubrication. Grease the Linear Bushings before use. Service life data is based on initial lubrication and relubricated Linear Bushings.
