The Bosch Rexroth SEGMT.LINEAR BUSH. KBSE-25-NR (R066802530) is a segmental linear bushing designed for smooth and precise linear motion applications. This closed-type bushing is engineered without a seal and features a corrosion-resistant construction, making it particularly suitable for environments where cleanliness and resistance to corrosive substances are essential, such as in medical, chemistry, and food industries. Crafted with a stainless steel body, the KBSE-25-NR offers enhanced durability and resistance to harsh conditions. Its load bearing plates and balls are also made of stainless steel, ensuring consistent performance under varying loads. The ball retainer and retaining rings are constructed from PA (polyamide), which contributes to the bushing's low friction coefficient of minimum 0.01 while also maintaining strength. This model is designed to accommodate a shaft diameter 'd' with precision while offering an outer diameter 'D'. It has been optimized for general requirements with the option to add separate wiper seals if needed. The dynamic load capacities vary depending on travel distance; for instance, they should be multiplied by 0.3 when based on a total travel of 100 km. The KBSE-25-NR operates efficiently within a permissible ambient temperature range of -30°C to +80°C, making it versatile for different climatic conditions. It supports maximum dynamic and static load capacities (Cmax) that ensure reliability during use, as well as minimum capacities (Cmin) that guarantee safety under lower loads. The bushing's maximum acceleration (amax), breakaway force, radial clearance on shaft bore (hbore K), radial clearance on shaft bore (hH), maximum permissible linear speed (vmax), weight, and other specifications are tailored to meet the demands of various linear motion systems. This Bosch Rexroth segmental linear bushing is part of their comprehensive product group ID for linear guide components, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of systems that require high-quality motion control solutions.

Effect of load direction on load rating

The listed load ratings should be chosen depending on installation in minimum or maximum position and should be based on the calculations. If the load direction is clearly defined and the Linear Bushings can be installed in maximum position, the load ratings Cmax. (dynamic load rating) and C0 max (static load rating) can be used. If aligned installation is not possible or the load direction is not defined, the minimum load ratings must be used.

Reduced load capacity with short stroke

In case of a short stroke, the service life of the shaft is less than that of the segmental Linear Bushing. The load ratings C specified in the tables must therefore be multiplied by the factor f.s .

Selection guide for operation under difficult conditions

For constantly humid or damp conditions caused, for instance, by water-based coolants/lubricants, we recommend the stainless steel Linear Bushing with parts made of steel in accordance with ISO 683-17 / EN 10088.

Life expectancy calculation

Installation

Install the segmental Linear Bushings using an arbor press (see General Installation Instructions). In order to prevent contamination in the segmental Linear Bushing, we recommend making sure that a segmental load bearing plate is covered by the slot when installing in slotted receivers.
