The Bosch Rexroth SEGMT.LINEAR BUSH. KBSE-16 (R066801600) is a high-quality segmental linear bushing designed for seamless integration into various linear motion systems. This closed-type bushing is engineered without seals, offering a standard version that is particularly suited for general requirements in linear applications. The KBSE-16 boasts hardened segmental load-bearing plates and balls crafted from rolling bearing steel, ensuring durability and smooth operation. The bushing features a ball retainer and retaining rings made of polyamide (PA), which contribute to its robust construction. It accommodates a shaft diameter of d, while the outer diameter D is precisely sized for compatibility with corresponding components. The design allows for optional separate wiper seals to be added if additional protection against contaminants is needed. This model has a minimum dynamic load capacity Cmin and a maximum dynamic load capacity Cmax, calculated based on a total travel distance of 100,000 meters; these capacities can be adjusted according to the distance traveled as specified in the product details. The friction force and coefficient are kept minimal, with values starting at 0.01—indicative of efficient performance with reduced resistance. The KBSE-16 operates effectively within a broad temperature range from -30°C to +80°C, accommodating diverse working environments. It also supports maximum acceleration amax and maximum permissible linear speed vmax, ensuring it meets the demands of high-speed applications. With its closed format, the SEGMT.LINEAR BUSH. KBSE-16 maintains an optimal balance between rigidity and load capacity while minimizing frictional loss. Its weight of 0.1 kg makes it lightweight yet sturdy enough to support substantial loads without compromising on precision or efficiency. Designed for use with compatible shafts, this Bosch Rexroth linear bushing represents an excellent choice for those seeking reliable linear guidance components that deliver consistent performance over time.

Effect of load direction on load rating
The listed load ratings should be chosen depending on installation in minimum or maximum position and should be based on the calculations. If the load direction is clearly defined and the Linear Bushings can be installed in maximum position, the load ratings Cmax. (dynamic load rating) and C0 max (static load rating) can be used. If aligned installation is not possible or the load direction is not defined, the minimum load ratings must be used.
Reduced load capacity with short stroke
In case of a short stroke, the service life of the shaft is less than that of the segmental Linear Bushing. The load ratings C specified in the tables must therefore be multiplied by the factor f.s .

Installation
Install the segmental Linear Bushings using an arbor press (see General Installation Instructions). In order to prevent contamination in the segmental Linear Bushing, we recommend making sure that a segmental load bearing plate is covered by the slot when installing in slotted receivers.
Fixation
a) Secured with wiper seal
b) Secured with metal case
