The Bosch Rexroth ELINE BALL BUSHING KBC-40-DD-RT-G (R065825644) is a high-quality linear bushing designed for general requirements, offering a compact and highly efficient solution for linear motion applications. This model features a shaft diameter of 40 mm and is characterized by its reduced radial clearance, making it suitable for applications that demand minimal-clearance bearings with an H bore. The ELINE BALL BUSHING KBC-40-DD-RT-G is equipped with two integrated wiper seals to protect the internal mechanisms from contaminants, ensuring long service life and reliability. With a dynamic load rating that supports high speeds and accelerations, this linear bushing can handle a maximum dynamic load capacity (Cmax) efficiently over a total travel distance of 100 km, with the capability to increase this value when based on shorter travel distances. The product also boasts an initial lubrication with Dynalub, which contributes to its low friction force and allows for extended lubrication intervals or even lubrication for life. The construction includes hardened segmental load-bearing plates with ball conformity in the running track, which enhances its dynamic load capacity and durability. Additionally, the POM ball retainer and balls made of rolling bearing steel contribute to the bushing's performance stability. The ELINE BALL BUSHING KBC-40-DD-RT-G has been designed for easy mounting; it can simply be pressed into place without the need for additional securing. This model operates within a permissible ambient temperature range of -20°C to +80°C and offers users a practical solution with many pockets acting as lubricant reservoirs. The metal holding rings are approximately 0.1 mm larger than the outer diameter shaft diameters ranging from 12 to 50 mm, ensuring a secure fit in the housing bore. Overall, this Bosch Rexroth linear bushing stands out for its compact size, reduced clearance precision, ease of installation, and maintenance-free operation under normal conditions.

Effect of load direction on load rating
The listed load ratings should be chosen depending on installation in minimum or maximum position and should be based on the calculations. If the load direction is clearly defined and the Linear Bushings can be installed in maximum position, the load ratings Cmax. (dynamic load rating) and C0 max (static load rating) can be used. If aligned installation is not possible or the load direction is not defined, the minimum load ratings must be used.
Reduced load capacity with short stroke
In case of short stroke, the service life of the shafts is less than that of Linear Bushings. The load ratings C specified in the tables must therefore be multiplied by the factor f.s .
| 1) | fs = factor |
| 2) | s = stroke |
Definition of dynamic load ratings
Sealing
The sealed version contains integrated wiper seals.
Separate wiper seals are also available (no securing necessary).
Installation
Install the Linear Bushings using an arbor press (see "Notes for mounting" below). If Linear Bushings are slightly skewed when initially installed into the housing bore, they will align themselves as they are pressed in. The Linear Bushing does not have to be removed and realigned.
Retention
Shaft diameter 8 and 10: The plastic outer sleeve is oversized. Additional retention is required for vibrations or high acceleration. Starting from shaft diameter 12: The outer diameter of the metal holding ring is oversized. No additional retention needed (bore length ≥ C).
