The Bosch Rexroth COMPACT LIN. BUSH. KBC-50-DD-NR (R065825030) is a high-quality compact linear bushing designed for general requirements with an emphasis on corrosion resistance and maintenance-free operation. This model features a shaft diameter of 'd' and is equipped with two seals to protect against contaminants, ensuring reliability and longevity in various applications. The COMPACT LIN. BUSH. KBC-50-DD-NR boasts small outer dimensions and a highly compact construction, allowing for efficient use of space without compromising on performance. It provides a high dynamic load rating and long service life due to its hardened segmental loadbearing plates that ensure ball conformity in the running track. Constructed from stainless steel, this linear bushing is well-suited for use in sensitive environments such as the medical, chemistry, and food industries. The segmental load bearing plates are complemented by balls made from durable materials, capable of withstanding rigorous conditions while offering smooth motion. The product offers normal radial clearance and comes not lubricated; however, it includes many pockets acting as lubricant reservoirs for extended lubrication intervals or potentially lubrication for life. These pockets also serve to collect dirt that may enter the system, preventing jamming and ensuring consistent operation. Installation is straightforward with no additional retention needed—simply press onto the desired location. It has integrated metal retainer rings approximately 0.5 mm larger than the outer diameter of shaft diameters ranging from 3 to 50 mm to ensure a secure fit in the housing bore. With its closed format, low friction coefficients ranging from 0.01 to 0.03 (with a maximum of 0.25), and high travel speed capability of up to 5 m/s, this linear bushing is designed for efficiency and ease of use across various applications. The COMPACT LIN. BUSH. KBC-50-DD-NR operates within an ambient temperature range of -30°C to +80°C, accommodating diverse working environments while maintaining performance integrity. Weighing just 0.1 kg, this Bosch Rexroth linear bushing represents an optimal solution for designers looking for a reliable linear motion component that combines compactness with robust functionality in demanding applications.

Effect of load direction on load rating

The listed load ratings should be chosen depending on installation in minimum or maximum position and should be based on the calculations. If the load direction is clearly defined and the Linear Bushings can be installed in maximum position, the load ratings Cmax. (dynamic load rating) and C0 max (static load rating) can be used. If aligned installation is not possible or the load direction is not defined, the minimum load ratings must be used.

Reduced load capacity with short stroke

In case of short stroke, the service life of the shafts is less than that of Linear Bushings. The load ratings C specified in the tables must therefore be multiplied by the factor f.s .

Installation

Install the Linear Bushings using an arbor press (see "Notes for mounting" below). If Linear Bushings are slightly skewed when initially installed into the housing bore, they will align themselves as they are pressed in. The Linear Bushing does not have to be removed and realigned.

Retention

Shaft diameter 8 and 10: The plastic outer sleeve is oversized. Additional retention is required for vibrations or high acceleration. Starting from shaft diameter 12: The outer diameter of the metal holding ring is oversized. No additional retention needed (bore length ≥  C).

General mounting instructions

Initial lubrication

Linear bushings do not come with initial lubrication. Grease the Linear Bushings before use. Service life data is based on initial lubrication and relubricated Linear Bushings.
