The Bosch Rexroth STD.LINEAR BUSHING KBM-O-60-DD (R063206000) is a high-performance standard linear bushing designed for demanding applications. This robust bushing features a rugged all-metal design with a steel ball retainer, making it suitable for harsh environments and heavy contamination. It is an open type with a shaft diameter of 60 mm and comes equipped with two standard seals to ensure reliable operation. The KBM-O-60-DD is engineered for extended lubrication intervals or lubrication for life, thanks to its many pockets that act as lubricant reservoirs. These pockets also serve the purpose of collecting any dirt that may enter the system, preventing the linear bushing from jamming. This model does not include wiper seals but instead has integrated steel retaining rings which allow for higher operating temperatures when used with shaft diameters of 60 mm and above. Constructed with a hardened and ground outer sleeve, the KBM-O-60-DD's steel ball retainer ensures durability and smooth motion. The balls are made from rolling bearing steel, arranged in rows within the series standard metal configuration. The dynamic load capacity C is indicative of its ability to handle significant loads in its main direction of operation. This linear bushing's design includes no locating hole for shaft diameters 12 and 14 mm but offers optional integrated wiper seals as an add-on feature. It is particularly suited for applications in woodworking, foundries, and cement plants where robustness and reliability are critical. With a maximum permissible linear speed (vmax) and specific friction coefficients detailed in its specifications, the Bosch Rexroth STD.LINEAR BUSHING KBM-O-60-DD provides precise guidance under various operating conditions. Its static load rating C0 ensures stability under stationary loads while maintaining a permissible ambient temperature range from -30°C up to +80°C without compromising performance. The product group ID further categorizes this component within Bosch Rexroth's extensive range of linear motion products.

Impact of load direction on load rating of open Linear Bushings

The load ratings C and C0 apply for the main direction of loading ρ = 0°. For all other load directions, the load ratings must be multiplied by the factors fρ (dynamic load rating C) or fρ0 (static load rating C0).

Installing specific Linear Bushings can prevent reductions in load capacity (see Linear Set with side opening).

Definition of dynamic load ratings

Installation dimensions/interchangeability

Standard Linear Bushings have the same installation dimensions as super Linear Bushings. They are interchangeable, differ however in terms of securing, radial clearance, load ratings and lubrication.

Sealing

Standard Linear Bushings come with a wiper seal with shaft diameters of 5 and higher. Open standard Linear Bushings with shaft diameters 20 to 80 can also come fully sealed (with longitudinal seal; increased friction).

Main direction of loading

Shaft diameters 12 and 16 must be installed as shown (inversely) in order to avoid lifting off the shaft. It is not possible to set a single linear bushing (slotted housing with adjusting screw) to zero clearance.
