The Bosch Rexroth STD.LINEAR BUSHING KBM-O-50-DD (R063205000) is a high-quality standard linear bushing crafted for durability and performance in demanding environments. Designed with a rugged all-metal construction and a steel ball retainer, this linear bushing excels in harsh conditions and heavy contamination, making it suitable for applications such as woodworking, foundries, and cement plants. The open design allows for easy maintenance while the integrated pockets serve as lubricant reservoirs to extend lubrication intervals or even enable lubrication for life. The KBM-O-50-DD model features two standard seals to protect against contaminants and is capable of operating in temperatures well above 100°C or under vacuum conditions when unsealed. It also includes locating holes for axial and radial securing, although no locating holes are present for shaft diameters below 12 mm. The bushing's design allows for optional integrated wiper seals, offering additional protection against dirt ingress. This linear bushing boasts a hardened and ground outer sleeve that ensures longevity and consistent performance. The balls are made of rolling bearing steel, arranged in rows within the steel ball retainer to facilitate smooth motion. Its dynamic load capacity is optimized for the main direction of loading, with the ability to handle maximum accelerations efficiently. With a size E outer diameter D and a weight of 0.5 kg, the STD.LINEAR BUSHING KBM-O-50-DD offers reliable operation within permissible ambient temperatures ranging from -20°C to 80°C. Its design accounts for friction forces and provides specifications on breakaway force as well as maximum permissible linear speeds. Overall, this linear bushing stands out as an excellent choice for applications requiring robustness, precision, and reliability under challenging conditions.

Impact of load direction on load rating of open Linear Bushings

The load ratings C and C0 apply for the main direction of loading ρ = 0°. For all other load directions, the load ratings must be multiplied by the factors fρ (dynamic load rating C) or fρ0 (static load rating C0).

Installing specific Linear Bushings can prevent reductions in load capacity (see Linear Set with side opening).

Definition of dynamic load ratings

Installation dimensions/interchangeability

Standard Linear Bushings have the same installation dimensions as super Linear Bushings. They are interchangeable, differ however in terms of securing, radial clearance, load ratings and lubrication.

Sealing

Standard Linear Bushings come with a wiper seal with shaft diameters of 5 and higher. Open standard Linear Bushings with shaft diameters 20 to 80 can also come fully sealed (with longitudinal seal; increased friction).

Main direction of loading

Shaft diameters 12 and 16 must be installed as shown (inversely) in order to avoid lifting off the shaft. It is not possible to set a single linear bushing (slotted housing with adjusting screw) to zero clearance.
