The Bosch Rexroth STD.LINEAR BUSHING KBM-E-16-DD (R061201610) is a meticulously engineered component designed for precision linear motion applications. This standard linear bushing features an adjustable radial clearance, ensuring optimal performance and longevity under varying operational conditions. The robust all-metal design, complete with a steel ball retainer, makes it suitable for use in harsh environments and heavy contamination areas such as woodworking, foundries, and cement plants. The KBM-E-16-DD is characterized by its rugged construction, with a hardened and ground outer sleeve that enhances durability. It accommodates a shaft diameter of 16 mm and includes two integrated wiper seals to protect against contaminants while maintaining smooth operation. These wiper seals also act as lubricant reservoirs, contributing to extended lubrication intervals or even enabling lubrication for life in certain applications. This model boasts multiple pockets that serve to collect dirt and debris, preventing jamming of the bushing. For applications involving higher temperatures or vacuum conditions, this bushing is designed without wiper seals but includes steel retaining rings that allow operation in these more demanding scenarios. With a dynamic load capacity (Cmax) that ensures reliable performance over a total travel distance of 100 km (with an adjustment factor for different travel distances), the KBM-E-16-DD demonstrates exceptional mechanical capabilities. The friction force is also carefully noted, with specific multipliers provided for configurations with one wiper seal. In terms of technical specifications, the bushing has an outer diameter of E size and can handle maximum dynamic loads efficiently. The product's weight is 0.2 kg, indicating its suitability for various industrial applications without adding significant mass to the machinery. Overall, the Bosch Rexroth STD.LINEAR BUSHING KBM-E-16-DD offers a combination of adjustability, resilience to environmental challenges, and maintenance-friendly features that make it an essential component for linear motion systems requiring precision and reliability.

Impact of load direction on load rating of closed Linear Bushings
The listed load ratings should be chosen depending on installation in minimum or maximum position and should be based on the calculations. If the load direction is clearly defined and the Linear Bushings can be installed in maximum position, the load ratings Cmax. (dynamic load rating) and C0 max (static load rating) can be used. If aligned installation is not possible or the load direction is not defined, the minimum load ratings must be used.
Definition of dynamic load ratings
Installation dimensions/interchangeability
Standard Linear Bushings have the same installation dimensions as super Linear Bushings. They are interchangeable, differ however in terms of securing, radial clearance, load ratings and lubrication.
Sealing
Standard Linear Bushings come with a wiper seal with shaft diameters of 5 and higher. Open standard Linear Bushings with shaft diameters 20 to 80 can also come fully sealed (with longitudinal seal; increased friction).
