The Bosch Rexroth STD.LINEAR BUSHING KBM-E-8 (R061030800) is a high-quality linear motion component designed for a range of industrial applications. This standard metal linear bushing is characterized by its adjustable radial clearance and rugged all-metal design, which includes a steel ball retainer suitable for harsh environments and heavy contamination. The KBM-E-8 is engineered to operate without seals, enabling it to withstand extreme temperatures well above 100°C or under vacuum conditions. This linear bushing's design incorporates many pockets that act as lubricant reservoirs, allowing for extended lubrication intervals or even lubrication for life. The absence of wiper seals and the inclusion of integrated steel retaining rings permit the bushing to accommodate higher operating temperatures when used with shaft diameters of 12mm and above. The hardened and ground outer sleeve enhances durability while the steel ball retainer ensures smooth motion; for shaft diameters of 12mm and 16mm, a plastic retainer made of PA is used. With four rows of balls made from rolling bearing steel, the KBM-E-8 provides reliable load-bearing capacity. It has a maximum dynamic load capacity (Cmax) that varies based on travel distance, with adjustments necessary if based on travel distances other than the standard 100,000m. The friction coefficient ranges from 0.01 to 0.02 under lubrication with oil, though this can vary depending on load conditions. The Bosch Rexroth STD.LINEAR BUSHING KBM-E-8 is particularly suitable for applications in woodworking, foundries, and cement plants where it can prevent jamming by collecting dirt within its pockets. It offers an outer diameter (D) size E (14mm), breakaway force specifications, maximum permissible linear speed (vmax), along with minimum static and dynamic load capacities that ensure robust performance in demanding situations. With a weight of 0.04kg and specific radial clearance specifications, this linear bushing stands as an adaptable solution in precision linear motion tasks.

Impact of load direction on load rating of closed Linear Bushings
The listed load ratings should be chosen depending on installation in minimum or maximum position and should be based on the calculations. If the load direction is clearly defined and the Linear Bushings can be installed in maximum position, the load ratings Cmax. (dynamic load rating) and C0 max (static load rating) can be used. If aligned installation is not possible or the load direction is not defined, the minimum load ratings must be used.
Definition of dynamic load ratings
Installation dimensions/interchangeability
Standard Linear Bushings have the same installation dimensions as super Linear Bushings. They are interchangeable, differ however in terms of securing, radial clearance, load ratings and lubrication.
Sealing
Standard Linear Bushings come with a wiper seal with shaft diameters of 5 and higher. Open standard Linear Bushings with shaft diameters 20 to 80 can also come fully sealed (with longitudinal seal; increased friction).
