The Bosch Rexroth STD.LINEAR BUSHING KBM-3 (R060030300) is a high-quality standard linear bushing designed for robust applications. This closed-type bushing is crafted from standard metal without a seal, offering a rugged all-metal design with a steel ball retainer that is suitable for harsh environments and heavy contamination. Its design includes many pockets that act as lubricant reservoirs to extend lubrication intervals or even allow for lubrication for life. The steel ball retainer in this linear bushing can accommodate shaft diameters with variations that include plastic strips made of POM or PA, depending on the size. The Bosch Rexroth STD.LINEAR BUSHING KBM-3 is ideal for use in demanding conditions such as woodworking, foundries, and cement plants. It has been engineered to prevent jamming by collecting any dirt that enters the system. The lack of wiper seals and the inclusion of integrated steel retaining rings enable this bushing to withstand higher temperatures, particularly with larger shaft diameters. This linear bushing features a hardened and ground outer sleeve, ensuring durability and smooth operation. It offers excellent dynamic load capacities based on a total travel distance, with specific multipliers provided for different distances traveled. The product's friction coefficient remains low under heavy loads but may vary depending on conditions such as load and lubrication levels. With rows of balls aiding movement, the Bosch Rexroth STD.LINEAR BUSHING KBM-3 ensures minimal friction force under normal operation, which can be adjusted when wiper seals are present. It also boasts a wide range of permissible ambient temperatures, making it versatile in various working conditions. The outer diameter and maximum permissible linear speed are specified to ensure compatibility and performance within its intended applications. Overall, this linear bushing is designed to meet the demands of heavy-duty industrial use while maintaining smooth motion and long-term reliability even in environments where contamination is a concern. Its construction allows for high load capacities while still providing protection against external elements without sacrificing performance.

Impact of load direction on load rating of closed Linear Bushings
The listed load ratings should be chosen depending on installation in minimum or maximum position and should be based on the calculations. If the load direction is clearly defined and the Linear Bushings can be installed in maximum position, the load ratings Cmax. (dynamic load rating) and C0 max (static load rating) can be used. If aligned installation is not possible or the load direction is not defined, the minimum load ratings must be used.
Definition of dynamic load ratings
Installation dimensions/interchangeability
Standard Linear Bushings have the same installation dimensions as super Linear Bushings. They are interchangeable, differ however in terms of securing, radial clearance, load ratings and lubrication.
Sealing
Standard Linear Bushings come with a wiper seal with shaft diameters of 5 and higher. Open standard Linear Bushings with shaft diameters 20 to 80 can also come fully sealed (with longitudinal seal; increased friction).
