The Bosch Rexroth RETURN 90+ 90° (3842552985) is a return unit designed for building alpine conveyors with the chain running exclusively on the upper side. This innovative return unit boasts several advantages over traditional alpine conveyors with head drives. Firstly, it features a shorter chain return, which reduces the tensile force needed for the conveyor chain, allowing for a larger volume within the alpine conveyor system. Additionally, there is no need to mount slide rails for chain return on the underside of the profile, streamlining installation and maintenance processes. The RETURN 90+ 90° is optimized for use with connection drives AL and STS as well as curve wheel drive kits parameterized as AC. It supports a maximum section length for the return unit of Lmax meters and can handle a maximum chain tensile force of up to N for drive purposes. The material specifications include nonrusting steel for both housing and connectors, PA (polyamide) for chain wheel, chain guide, and hexagonal shaft, ensuring durability and compliance with FDA standards where necessary. This return unit comes fully assembled, including fastening materials suitable for AL systems such as an adapter ALSTS.
