The Sun Hydraulics A9U (A9U) is a versatile manifold specifically engineered for use with solenoid-operated and electroproportional cartridges. This component features additional material around the cavity to ensure adequate coil clearance and includes the necessary spotface for compatibility with Sun's weatherized coil. Designed as a line mount body type, it supports a series circuit configuration from 2 to 2, accommodating both standard and weatherized coils. The manifold includes two open cavities, each designed in accordance with the T-13A cavity specification, and features two mounting holes with a diameter of 0.34 inches (8.6 mm) that extend through the entire body. The port size is specified at 3/8 BSPP, making it suitable for various hydraulic applications requiring precise fluid control. Constructed from 6061-T651 aluminum, this manifold offers excellent corrosion resistance without the need for anodizing, which can compromise fatigue life and increase costs.
