Type R13205..00 is a plastic plain bearing with flange. This flange is intended to be a simple holding device against axial displacement. At the same time, however, it can also absorb axially occurring forces.
Compensation gap and slot
The flange is provided with a compensating gap “A” in the longitudinal direction. This almost compensates for dimensional deviations that occur as a result of moisture absorption or temperature changes, saves lubricant in lubricated bearings, and contributes to its distribution in the bearing. The radial slots “B” in the flange have the same function as compensating gap “A”.
