The CPU module is the central processing unit of the SafeLogic compact safety controller. All the safety-related input signals to/from the activated I/O modules are processed in it. The CPU module monitors and processes all configuration data and the safety program, which are stored in the memory plug. Data is exchanged within the system via the FLEXBUS+ communication bus.
